PARKING
Parking is available at the top end of the Park, adjacent to the
skate-park and golf driving range. However, should this become full, street
parking along the industrial estate (displayed) can also be used. Please try to
avoid using the centre’s car park and follow instructions from the car park
marshals on hand.
TOILETS
Toilets are available within the golf driving range, and also at the park’s Visitor Centre. Please follow any signage provided and change into clean footwear prior to entering the building, or enter the Visitor’s Centre toilet facilities from the rear.
THE COURSE
The race will have a total length of approximately 4.5 miles / 7.1km and
consists of 3 laps for all runners. The route displayed starts with one small
clockwise lap around the perimeter of the first field followed by two larger
laps (taking in both fields) then heading onto the finish.
Posts and tape will mark the key parts of the course perimeter alongside
marshals deployed at key areas on the route.

Ambulance
RISK ASSESSMENT
The course is run entirely on fields
with multiple natural hazards that create a risk of
slips or trips. Based on the experience
of previous years in is likely that the ground will be very wet, muddy and
slippery. It is strongly advised that all runners wear suitable footwear for
the ground conditions such as spikes or trail shoes with a high level of grip.

RACE NUMBER / TIMING CHIPS
No number/chip = no result for you
(don't start without one)
Wear the number most recently allocated
- if you use an old one you find at home and it's not currently registered to
you, you will not appear in the results
Please make sure you do not hold your
hand over your number/chip when you cross the finish line - hold arms to side
or above your head. You may not get registered by the system and the backup
video at the finish will not record your number.
Please do not get close to the timing
equipment (finish) once you've been through the finish once. Repeated 'pings'
slow down the results system
Please do not take unused chips (from
runners who are not running) close to the finish....otherwise those not
attending will appear in the results.

HEADPHONES
In accordance with UKA Rule 240 S 5,
the wearing of headphones, or similar devices, is not permitted in this race.
Non-compliance will result in the disqualification of the athlete and if deemed
necessary a points penalty against the offending club.
