Final Road Race of 2017 - 1st August

The 5th and final race of the GLCL 2017 Road Race Series (Cwmbran Road Race) will be jointly hosted by Fairwater Runners Cwmbran and Griffithstown Harriers on Tuesday 1st August.
Race HQ is The Olive Tree, Edlogan Way, Cwmbran NP44 2JJ.
Race start is 7:30pm at Grange Road which is approx. 5 minutes walk from the race HQ.
Car parking is limited at The Olive Tree, and car parking marshals will advise you on the night if this car park is full and will direct you to alternative car parking (also see map attached).
Toilet facilities are available at The Olive Tree.
You will also be able to purchase refreshments at The Olive Tree.
The race route is unchanged from previous years and is approx. 9 km distance. (see map attached)..
A UKA race permit has been obtained, and please take a few minutes to review the event risk assessment.

Parc Penalta Road LCL - Tues 6th June

Tuesday (6th) is the 3rd LCL Road Race at Penallta
The race starts at 7:30 pm

  4.8 miles. Starting in the park, two laps of the hill and then a flat run-in. A mix of tarmac and stone/gravel path in the park.

Allow 15 mins to get to the start from the car park!
