GLCL 2019/20 XC SERIES RACE 5 of 5 takes place on Sunday 8th March at Cefn Wood, Rogerstone and is hosted by Lliswerry Runners.
Race starts at 11:00 am.
Please remember that the wearing of headphones is prohibited at all GLCL races.
Please where possible car share as parking is limited at the venue.
Toilet facilities are available at Tiny Rebel Brewery (NP10 9FQ), a short walk from the venue.
Venue address is : Cefn Wood, Rogerstone, NP10 9YX.

Please comply with parking instructions provided.
Also, junior races will take place prior to the GLCL Senior race, please note that the junior races will be managed by Lliswerry Runners and not GLCL.

GLCL 2019/20 XC SERIES RACE 4 of 5; Sunday 2nd February, Risca, Hosted by Fairwater Runners Cwmbran
GLCL 2019/20 XC SERIES RACE 4 of 5 takes place on Sunday 2nd February at Risca Leisure Centre and is hosted by Fairwater Runners Cwmbran.
Race starts at 11:00 am.
Please remember that the wearing of headphones is prohibited at all GLCL races.
Please where possible car share as parking is limited at the venue.
Toilet facilities are available in the leisure centre.
Shower facilities and refreshments are also available for purchase in the leisure centre.
Venue address is : Risca Leisure Centre, Pontymason Ln, Risca, Newport NP11 6GH.

The race route is entirely within the grounds of the leisure centre with a short section in adjoining woodland.
The race will consist of 4 laps (counter clockwise direction) for all runners.
Each lap is approx. 1 mile distance.
Terrain is mostly flat grassland with a few very short steep ascents / descents and a short section of woodland path.
(see attached run route map).
Please pay attention to pre race instructions on race day and marshal instructions, as the route may vary slightly to this map.
First aid cover will be provided by St. John Ambulance.
The race is licensed by Welsh Athletics.
Risk assessment (see attached).
Thank you to Mike Heare for agreeing to be race referee and Ieuan Kingston for agreeing to be race director.
